SR

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told the members of the Council of Ministers before the commencement of the meeting of the Cabinet in the Mantralaya auditorium today that the Mahayagya for public welfare is going on in Madhya Pradesh.

The government is determined for the welfare of eight and a half crore citizens of the state. The June 10 programme of Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana and the June 13 programme of farmers' welfare were successful. This week has been very important from this point of view. The farmers and sisters were congratulated on behalf of the Cabinet.

Greeting the members of the Council of Ministers and the administrative team for the successful implementation of these programmes and schemes, Chief Minister Chouhan said that Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana is a unique example of speedy implementation of a scheme for the first time. Announcing the launch of the scheme on January 28, Narmada Jayanti, the inauguration of the scheme on March 5, after which the entire process of receiving the applications of eligible sisters, completing the e-KYC formalities and transferring the amount to the bank account was completed in the prescribed manner. The works were completed within the given time limit. This is a record in itself for starting any scheme and implementing it in a very short time. Officers and employees worked tirelessly for the implementation of Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that welfare schemes will work to change the lives of the citizens. The sisters who have taken advantage of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana are happy. This scheme will become the carrier of social change.

Chouhan said that on June 13, an amount of about six and a half thousand crore rupees was transferred under three important schemes in Rajgarh for the welfare of the farmers. While the state government has waived off the interest amount of the defaulter farmers and made them entitled to get fertilisers and seeds by freeing them from being defaulter, an amount of Rs 2900 crore of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana was also provided to about 49 lakh farmers. Along with this, an amount of Rs. 1400 crore was transferred to the farmers' accounts under the Mukhya Mantri Kisan-Kalyan Yojana (Chief Minister Farmers Welfare Scheme).

Now, like the sisters, the farmers will also get an amount of Rs. 1000 per month. Similar to the annual Kisan Samman Nidhi of Rs. 6,000 received from the Government of India, farmers in Madhya Pradesh will also get Rs 6,000 from the Mukhya Mantri Kisan-Kalyan Yojana thus a total of Rs 12,000 in a year.
