Personally I am scared to watch horror movies but couldn’t say no to this project,” said Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar at the trailer launch of her upcoming paranormal thriller. The trailer of a Bollywood paranormal thriller Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai was launched here on Tuesday at Cinepolis, Ashima Mall.
Notably, the protagonist of the film Swara Bhaskar along with Murli Sharma and Hemant Pandey were present during the trailer launch at the multiplex of the city.
Directed by Debaloy Dey, the movie is produced by Rajesh Jain, Ranjeet Jain, Sushil Agrawal, Viny Raj Modi and Abhinav Jain of Shri Wardhaman Movie Ventures Private ltd in association with Phaphamau Castle Film. The director of the movie was also present on the occasion.
Swara Bhaskar, who is known for her outstanding performance as Bindiya in Raanjhanaa is all set to woo the audiences with her forthcoming paranormal thriller Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai. As Swara plays the protagonist of the film states that she is personally scared of horror films.
In a candid talk with the media persons here on Tuesday, Swara said, “I don’t hate horror films, but I am scared of watching them. I don’t watch horror films, but before signing Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai, I was asked to watch their horror films. As an actor, it would have been foolish of me to say no to this film,” said Swara Bhaskar at the film’s trailer launch.
Talking about the movie, Swara said: “It’s a paranormal thriller. This film finds a space where science doesn’t have an answer. It’s a kind of a film which you would not have seen before.”
Murli Sharma will also be seen Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai. Murli plays a weird neighbour to actress Swara Bhaskar in the film. “I am genuinely scared of spirits. Although I don’t believe in god and ghosts, I did watch one horror film as a kid. But normally I don’t believe in them. I get drained out after every scene or film I do because I give away so much every time. I am completely drained,” stated Mruli Sharma about his role in the film.
The film also stars Bhanu Uday and Reema Debnath. The film is scheduled release on June 13.
