The accused in triple murder was stone-pelted on Tuesday after he was taken to the district court in Bankura; the court has sent the accused under eight days of police custody.
Serial killer Udyan Das faced the ire of the locals after he reached the court premises for producing in the court.
Udyan was accused of killing his live-in partner and his parents and was in contact with several women who have been tried to contact after the murders were revealed.
Out of around a dozen mobile phone numbers which were found only two have been identified while the remaining are yet to be identified and are being searched. The two women would be contacted and questioned which could help in the investigation, police officials added.
Call record details of Udyan have been searched and based on the details of calls, acquaintances would be questioned in the further investigation.
Udyan has revealed that he had sold jewelry of his mother around 7 months ago which is under investigation.
District police said that Bankura police have registered the case of kidnapping of Akansha and after request was made by the Bankura police district police provided support.
Bhopal police would not investigate the case and in case if new facts are revealed in the investigation police would investigate.
Bankura police have taken goods which are supposed to be evidences from Udyan’s house.
The acquaintance who were providing services and helped the accused would be questioned as it could help in determining the number of victims which came into contact with the accused and were harmed.
All the routine exercises done by the serial killer would be checked as it would reveal the details of accused.
