In the State Assembly elections apart from the big scandals and investigation against the leaders by supreme agencies of the country the local issues of water, road and sanitation are going to leave a big impact in captivating in the Bhopal North constituency. Bhopal North constituency has issues ranging dilapidated road, water supply and water lodging.
Arif Nagar which is endorsed and is believed to be unbeaten fort Arif Aqeel has problems which are prevalent in the other areas of the Bhopal North constituency.
But surprisingly the residents of Arif Nagar were not vocal in raising issues and they also denied of been photographed citing problems in future which clearly portrays the image of the current MlA which is a mix of popularity and little fear.
Majority of the area is dwelled by Muslim which is minority community but at the local self-help groups or NGO’s working for upliftment of the community which embraces the Congress legislator and is going to vote in his favour, told Ahmed Khan a teacher by profession.
A resident of Nishatpura road Ranjeet Singh told that Nishatpura area has problems ranging from water supply to water logging and the latest ‘produced’ is the uncovered ditches which were made to lay the water supply pipe line which was done few months ago and are still waiting for the ditches to be filled.
Traffic problems at the Bhopal talkies area is a big problem and for the past 10 years nothing has been done for managing the traffic and development of roads.
The one way roads which were made to manage traffic proved to be a failure as roads were diverted but traffic police personnel to manage them were never deployed told an hotelier Mansoor Khan.
Being a hub of commercial activities the facilities for the traders are not adequate and which makes it hard to maintain business in this stiff competition.
If revenue has to be increased facilities have to be increased, said Arvind Singh supplier of electrical equipments.
