The third day of world's largest Muslim community congregration Ijtema witnessed sea of people gathering to learn and gain from religious prophecies delivered by renowed religious scholars- Ulemas in the state capital.

On Monday ' Dua' (prayer of masses)  would mark the conclusion of the Ijtema and scholars and followers would return to their homes.

Maulana Shauqat said that be soft hearted for humanity, have mercy on others humans so that Almighty will have mercy on you. Today man has deviated away from the teachings of the Quran.

He was addressing the gathering after the morning prayer Fajr on Sunday. Arrangements have been made on a large scale for lunch-dinner and breakfast of the people coming here.

All the arrangements for food have been made keeping in mind that no one should go hungry.  In the first two days, 12 lakh water bottles and 10 lakh cups of tea were sold.

This figure will increase from double to three times, because the process of coming of Jamaats from all over the country is going on. Only vegetarian food is being prepared in Ijtema.

More than 6 lakh people have come here in two days. This figure increased further on Sunday because along with Madhya Pradesh, Jamaats are also coming from states like Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar etc. All the arrangements from their stay to food and drink have been made in Ijtema.

It is estimated that 10 lakh people will attend the 93rd Ijtema, but this figure may also increase. For the arrangement of food and drink, 40 zones have been made. Of these, 6 to 7 zones are for breakfast and the rest for dinner.

In the food zone located in Ijtema, full meal is being provided for just Rs 50 and breakfast for Rs.20.

Youth groups are making arrangements for breakfast. For this, 200 youths manage the arrangements from morning till night.

Ijtema in Bhopal was started in 1947 with just 12 or 14 people in Masjid Shakur Khan. Two years later, it started organising in the Taj-ul-Masajid. When the number of people coming to it started increasing in lakhs and the Masjid complex seemed small, it was shifted to Ghasipura near Eintkhedi on Berasia Road in the year 2015.
