The chief spokesman of Madhya Pradesh Congress committee, KK Mishra condemned the attack on Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students’ union president Kanhaiya Kumar and journalists in the presence of heavy police force.

Mishra in a statement here on Wednesday said that looking at the Government’s action against the people exercising their freedom of expression the nation is run by separatist forces and an emergency has been declared. He further asked that what the nationalist BJP is doing with Akali Dal, who tore the Indian Constitution, and PDP, who refers to Afzal Guru as a martyr.

He also raised questions on observing anniversary of Nathuram Godse, building his temple, erecting statue and asked is it not treason. The incident in JNU is not a co-incidence, but sponsored, as the Kanhaiya Kumar and his family are communists, added Mishra. This is planned so that in the upcoming elections in West Bengal, people of this category can be put behind bars, he further added.

The truth is, in the video that got viral in that Kanhaiya in his speech was talking against RSS, Smriti Irani and Subramaniyam Swamy and how is that treason, asks Mishra. Even Central Government agency National Investigation Agency (NIA) could not find any evidence against Kanhaiya. The investigation should be conducted to find and identify the  Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarti Parishad (ABVP) activists shouting anti-national slogans, added Mishra.

Mishra said Wednesday incident at Patiyala House Delhi was pre-planned move carried out by the separatists of the nation, previously against the minority Muslim community and now against the Dalits. He said that by looking at the SC’s decision on Wednesday’s incident the peoples’ faith in justice has strengthened.
