The thunderous music, excellent dance steps blended with the astounding expressions of the tiny tots in the city were enough to make dance drama ‘Krishna leela’ special.
The dance drama was performed here on Friday at Shaheed Bhavan Auditorium leaving the audiences totally spellbound. Envisaged by Tarun Dutt Pandey the programme was choreographed by Sneha Khare. The dance drama was presented by Nav Nritya Natya Sanstha Bhopal. While talking about the show, choreographer Sneha Khare said, “This dance drama was prepared in a workshop of two months. It includes the dance moves of Kathak forms which make this dance drama even more splendid.”
Featuring the children of age group from 4 to 14 years, the dance drama was much enjoyed by the audience.
The dance drama ‘Krishna leela’ as the name suggests was the life journey of lord Krishna. From his birth to his Maha Aarti all was shown in the drama.
The series of performances begin with Krishna Janm. All the events that happened during the birth of lord Krishna were showcased in the beginning of the dance drama. later, the programme was followed with Makhan Chori. Then the teenage of lord Krishna was shown where the Raas leela with radha and gopis were presented wonderfully.
The programme was followed with Givardhan Parvat, Kaliya Dahan, Kans Vadh. Then the colourful Holi was played on stage by the tiny tots, and it was an impressive sequence of the show. The dance drama was wrapped up with ‘Maha Arti Kunj Bihari Ki’.
The audience was overwhelmed with the splendid performance and appreciated the efforts put in by the little ones on stage with much confidence.
