CII Young Indian, Bhopal organised a session on ‘Big Thinking’ led by Ketan Bhagat, for the students of lNCT, Bhopal. Ketan Bhagat is an emerging writer, an exceptional Inspirational Speaker and brother of Chetan Bhagat.The session was aimed at building confidence of the students and promoting creative thinking in each individual. “You are wiser when you are young. We are all travelling in the same direction in our lives, but if you want your destination to be different, you need to change today,” said Ketan while addressing the students. He further added, “Your destination is linked to the way you think, the way you think will lead the way you act, your act will govern the way the world reacts, which finally leads you to your destination.”
More than 600 students participated in the highly interactive session, captured by the instinctive humor, and compelling oration. For success, he also shared four mantras- Stay away from Ego, Attachment and Fear, Pure and innocent are more powerful than shrewd and cunning, Motive (Intention) is everything and if the cause is right, universe will manifest the execution.
Several YI members were also present at the event. Telling about the session, Prakriti Jain, Chairperson, YI – Bhopal Chapter, said, “We at Young Indians believe in the youth, this is the reason we keep returning, trying to give them the exposure we did not have. Corporate culture and race towards a successful career has narrowed our vision. We need more and more visionary youth today for whom money should be the byproduct and not the goal.”
