The accused who had held captive a female model at her residence at fifth floor of an apartment at Misrod for more than 12 hours on Friday, was paraded in public on Saturday and was beaten up by the locals.
The accused identified as Rohit Singh of Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh had held the girl captive and had a country made pistol and a scissors.
On Saturday when the accused was produced in the court, he repented the incident and said that he does not want to live and pleaded for death penalty as he has been disowned by his family and girl whom he loved.
The accused told the police that if victim had refused to marry him, she would have shot her.
For the first time in the kidnap case that shook the State capital, the victim has said that she wanted the accused Rohit to be hanged, she was held captive at gun point and signed the affidavit at knife point and she acted according to the accused which saved her life.
“I want Rohit should be hanged as he forced me to sign the affidavit and threatened to shoot me and shot himself if she would refuse to marry him” said Vibha Shrivastava victim who was held captive for more than 12 hours at her flat at Fortune Divine City on Friday.
Vibha also raised concern about threat of life to her and her family after the release of the accused. The accused was saying that he would become famous as there was massive media coverage.
Earlier on February 28, the accused entered victim’s house carrying a country pistol and pressurised her to marry him.
