Thousands of youth ran in the ITM Udbhav Marathon in the memory of the late Madhavrao Scindia.Addressing the runners the Union Minister of the State for energy Jyotiraditya Scindia said that the future of Gwalior youth is secure and in the coming days they would enlighten their name in the whole country.
On this occasion the Olympian silver medalist rustler Sushil Kumar Priyadarshini Raje Scindia, vice chancellor Ramesh Pal of ITM University, OM Veer Singh president of Udbhav Keshav Pandey, secretary Deepak
Tomar, convener Ramesh Agarwal and deputy general manager of State Bank of India Anil Kumar Gupta were present. As soon as Scindia rustler Sushil Kumar and Priyadarshini Scindia waved green flag to the runners. They were greeted at different places by the people.
Addressing the concluding programme and the race Scindia said that the people of Gwalior have always given me love and honor. Sushil Kumar said that I am very happy to visit Gwalior and get the love of people of Gwalior. I am also happy to see that persons holding high post like Scindia are directly connected with the people which is a matter of great pride.
On this occasion the president of Jiwaji club Raju Kukreja, secretary Raju Seth State secretary of congress Darshan Singh MlA Pradyuman Singh, lakhan Singh and congress leader Munna lal Goyal were present.
In the face Ajay Veer Singh of Allahabadh got the first place in men’s category and Raj Singh of Hyderabad got the second place and Angad Kumar got the third place. In women category Anuradha Singh was first CF Suma Devi second and Hanifa Salma third. In girls category Manju Yadav was first Anjali Tomar second Vahida Rehman third.
In the boys category Chandramani was first, Sonu Rathore second and Vineet Kumar was third. In the senior citizen category Mohan Singh was first Ram Kishor was second and Geeta Mishra was third.
The winners of the marathon were distributed prizes of `1.51 lacks. momentos were given to the Olympian OM Veer Singh and Anil Mathur of ITM University president of Jiwaji Club Raju Kukreja, Secretary Raju Seth and DGM of SBI Gupta by Scindia. Manoj Agarwal
