'It is time for Chouhan to retire from politics'

Staff Reporter

It is time for Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to resign and retire from politics and not for fasting as people with Godse’s ideology should not gimmick Gandhi said leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Ajay Singh.

Pointing the unrest among farmers Singh alleged that the appeal for peace is made by Chief Minister under whose administration police have shot seven farmers and all these are murders as each one of the farmer was shot above belt. The Chief Minister has appealed the farmers not to protest on roads for their demands and should die in peace burdened with the loans.

Singh has demanded the Governor to impose Governor Rule as the present Government has failed and succumbed to situation. BJP president Amit Shah’s comment of clever tradesman has attracted ire from the Congress and Singh has claimed the comment on Gandhi as disrespecting and should apologise from the same.

Congress demands to impose Governor Rule and recovery of money used in gimmicks of fasting by erecting tents on Government money and accepting demands of the farmers. Singh said that Chief Minister has done nothing as Urad and Taur pulses would be bought by Central Government at Minimum Support Price and the price stabalisation fund of Rs1,000 crore was declared around two years ago at Jamboree ground at Krishi Mahotsav and it was announced that Rs1,000 crore would be deposited in the fund which would help in purchasing produce at MSP but that never happened and led to the crisis which has turned worst and again the Chief Minister is making tall claims to mislead farmers.
