Anthony de Sa appreciated the efforts of Bharat Soka Gakkai which is working for peace through culture and education. He mentioned how the principle of sustainability was a phenomenon being used by our ancestors. He suggested that by the correct usage of science and technology we can improvise our future. Instead of exploiting mother Earth, one needs to nurture it. De Sa believed that “individual, society and nature are all interlinked to each other at each level.” The key message of this exhibition is- “It starts with one”. “Seeds of Hope” encourages people to overcome feelings of powerlessness and highlights the fact that “a single individual can initiate positive change”. The emphasis, that sustainability is not only about protecting the environment but also ensuring social justice and peace.
The exhibition consists of 24 panels having 8 case studies depicting how a single person brought the change through persistent efforts. Every panel has quotes from a famous personality from social, spiritual or scientific background. The inset at the bottom of each panel has a picture of an unusual or endangered animal which attracted many viewers.
