Chancellor and Governor Ram Naresh Yadav while addressing a meeting of governing body of Baba Saheb Ambedkar National Social Science Institute on Monday said that efforts to upgrade the institute to university should be intensified in deference of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s wish and hurdles in it should be removed. He called for efforts to activate the university in the current academic session.
SC, ST Welfare Minister Gyan Singh, PS to Governor Ajay Tirkey, PS Finance Ashish Upadhyay, Commissioner SC Welfare Jl Malpani, vice chancellor of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore DP Singh and institute’s Director General RS Kuril attended meeting. Governor Yadav said that Baba Saheb Ambedkar has done unparalleled works in various sectors including agriculture development, social justice and law, women’s empowerment, and rural development.
