An International Webinar on Recent Advances in Pharmaceutical Research was held on Sunday. The webinar was organised by Oriental College of Pharmacy.
On Sunday, it was first session of webinar. This will be held in four sessions which will be continued on June 2, June 6, and June 8. Various students, teachers, and business professionals were preent during the webinar.
The experts shared knowledge having cellular, molecular and gene level research expertise. During the webinar, the experts gave an introduction to pharmacy and pharma technology. It is to be noted that Pharmaceutical technicians assist scientists in the pharmaceutical industry. They are sometimes called drug technicians. Most pharmaceutical technicians work for private companies that make finished drugs, such as vitamin pills, tranquilizers, antiseptics, antibiotics, and veterinary medicines.
Pharmaceutics is the discipline of pharmacy that deals with the process of turning a new chemical entity (NCE) or old drugs into a medication to be used safely and effectively by patients. It is also called the science of dosage form design.
There are many chemicals with pharmalogical properties, but need special measures to help them achieve therapeutically relevant amounts at their sites of action. Pharmaceutics helps relate the formulation of drugs to their delivery and disposition in the body.
