The 37th Infantry Commanders' Conference is scheduled to be held on November 14 and 15, 2023 at Infantry School, Mhow. This conference is a biennial event aimed at undertaking a holistic analysis of operational training and management aspects of the Infantry.
The Chief of Army Staff, General Manoj Pande, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC and a cross section of Infantry officers including Formation Commanders, Colonels of the Regiments, Regimental Center Commandants and Commanding Officers are attending the conference.
A weapon and equipment firepower demonstration is also being organized wherein advance technology weapon and equipment systems recently inducted into Infantry are being showcased.
The conference acts as a forum for deliberations on the matters pertaining to modernisation, restructuring, human resources and future development of the Infantry. The deliberations are likely to synergise the innovative ideas to ensure that Infantry contributes efficiently in dealing with the emerging challenges to the National Security.
