The death of three person of the family including father, brother and sister whose scooter was hit by the speeding bus of kids college Indore has once again raised the question against the Indore RTO department as according to sources in the technical investigation of the bus by police it was found that the bus speed governor was not working and its connections were disconnected and lying apart.
Besides, the brakes of the bus were not working properly and were technically unfit. Interestingly, the bus has procured the fitness certificate from Indore RTO department just 4 months ago, in November 2021 for next 24 months and people are raising questions that why and how the Indore RTO department has given the fitness permission to the school bus when the speed governor were not working and were disconnected and when the bus brake system were technically not functioning properly.
Major quesiton is how the brakes of the school bus can get unfit merely in 4 months after the fitness certificate was issued for complete 24 months.
According to sources, no proper technical vehicle fitness checking is done in Indore RTO department and the RTO and ARTO signs on the files which comes to them through middleman for which the middle man pays heavy amount of bribery for each file whether it is the vehiclefitness files, Vehicle transfer file, driving license files, new vehicle registration file, short term permit and long term permit files.
According to sources, more than 2000 files are daily signed in Indore RTO department and for each files there is an average bribery via middleman is around Rs 2000 which result in the bribery of rs 40 lakh rs per day in Indore RTO department. Indore RTO Jitendra Singh Raghuvanshi don't pick up the phone for his statement as he is posted in Indore for 7 years.
ARTO Archana Mishra is posted in Indore for around 10 years and ARTO Hridesh Yadav is posted for 6 years in Indore RTO department with their high political and departmental link ups. People appealto government for immediatetransfers of these officers and also removal of hundreds of middle men in Indore RTO department.
The issue of thousands of heavy driving license during the time of Indore RTO Jitendra Singh Raghuvanshi, ARTO Archana Mishra and ARTO Hridesh Yadav was also in limelight as Tejaji Nagar police has registered an FIR in this matter.
and the police investigation is on and also the thousands of driving license issued on duplicate marksheet has also not been recovered or cancelled by Indore RTOdepartment till today.
