Indore district panchayat stood first in entire MP in grading of rural village development scheme for the month March 2021.
The panchayat and village development department of MP has done a grading on the basis of 9 common basic schemes going on in all the 51 zila panchayats of Madhya Pradesh.
Rajya gramin ajivika mission, manrega, watershed, Pradhan mantri awas yojna, mid day meal, swatch bharat mission, c m helpline, cm street vendor scheme and panchayat sector scheme. All the zila panchayats of the state have been evaluated on the basis of these 9 basic schemes functional in all the gram panchayats of all the zila panchayats. Indore zila panchayat is only zila panchayat that achieved A+ grading and secured first rank in State.
Around 200 public cleanliness premises has been constructed in Indore zila panchayat area.
The CEO of Indore Zila Panchayat Himanshu Chandra told The Pioneer that Indore district was rank 4 in February month but in month march 2021 it is first in MP and in the same way Indore division was rank 5 in February and in march 2021 Indore division also secured rank 1.
