Inadequate treatment for patients at Jaya Arogya hosp alleged

PNS

The patients of the Jaya Arogya hospital of Gwalior are being deprived of proper treatment and medicines. The patients have to purchase the medicines and other items from outside. The patients are not even getting the free medicines.

The OPD of the hospital is providing treatment to 700 patients per day. Various tests are recommended to around 400 patients, everyday, but around 150 patients have to purchase the medicines from outside the hospital and various patients have to complete their respective tests at various private pathologies. These pathology labs demand a lot of money in order to complete the tests.

The hospital administration is unable to manage the patients as around 350 patients are advised to get admitted in the hospital, everyday.

JA Hospital is also unable to provide various normal medicines, which are generally recommended for the normal fever or headache. As the hospital administration is running out of the various common medicines such as beplex forte, combiflam and paracetamol.

The patients are not even getting the pathology reports in time hence they are unable to receive proper treatment from the doctors.

The patients have to go to the private pathology labs as JA Hospital is not able to conduct the Thyroid, CPKVM (Heart Test), lDH (Kidney Test), Hepatitis E, Hepatitis B(Profile), Hepatitis A tests. Doctors are giving vague treatment to the patients.
