builders registration suspended on wrong info
Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has suspended with immediate effect the registration of Sagar builder Prakash Choubey for providing wrong information of his project Sunrise Megacity Phase-II Sagar. Instructions have been given to the builder to appear before the Authority. The builder Prakash Choubey was issued a notice by the Authority and told to clarify the situation regarding the wrong information provided by him about the project, but he did not present himself. It may be noted that the Authority had received a complaint regarding Sunrise Megacity Phase-II Sagar project. In the complaint, it was informed that the details given for the registration of the project showed only 5 acres, whereas the advertisement which was issued by the promoter along with the RERA registration number showed a large project area of 27 acres. In addition, during RERA registration it was informed that the project was of plot development, whereas the advertisement mentions that booking of 2 BHK and 3 BHK houses were in progress. The builder did not submit quarterly details also to the Authority.
71.16 % turnout in 4th phases of LS polls in MP
Bhopal: A total turnout of 71.16 percent was registered in all the fourth phases of the Lok Sabha elections-2019 in MP. This is 9.55 per cent more than the last Lok Sabha election. Total turnout in the last Lok Sabha elections was 61.61 percent. Min flagged off menstrual hygiene chariot
Bhopal: Woman and Child Development Minister Imarti Devi flagged off the menstrual hygiene chariot. It may be noted that Menstrual Hygiene Day is celebrated on May 28. State level programme will be held in Ravindra Bhavan on May 28. Imarti Devi said that an awareness campaign will be launched in the entire state. She said that the teenaged girls and women will be made aware on how to take care of cleanliness and health during menstruation. Misconceptions related to menstruation will also be removed.
Workshop on drinking water resources held
Bhopal: A day-long workshop on ‘Sustainability of drinking water resources' will be organized by the Public Health Engineering Department with the support of Piramal Foundation from 9.30 am on May 28 at the Academy of Administration. The workshop will be inaugurated in the presence of Public Health Engineering Minister Sukhdev Panse and other guests. Principal Secretary PHE Sanjay Shukla will also give a lecture. Subject experts will discuss technically and economically useful experiments and methods in state during the two sessions.
Sharma pays tribute to first PM on his death anniv
Bhopal: Public Relations Minister PC Sharma offered floral tribute and garlanded the statue of the country’s first Prime Minister Late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru at Nehru Nagar on his 55th death anniversary. Sharma also garlanded the statue of Nehru at Roshanpura square. Those present observed two-minute silence and paid homage. Corporator Yogendra Singh Chauhan, Pradeep Saxena, former corporator Pravin Saxena and dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Training workshop of Clay Modeling by IGRMS
Bhopal: Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya under its popular summer series of ‘Do & Learn’ educational programmes commenced the training workshop of Clay Modeling till June 3, 2019. In this workshop, artists DC Manna are imparting training of this clay modeling art. On this occasion, Prof Sarit Kumar Choudhuri, Dilip Singh, Joint Director, IGRMS, Participant and senior official of IGRMS formally inaugurated Museum’s training workshop. On this occasion, artist DC Manna said that Clay is a highly versatile material. Being as sturdy as it is, we can model something extremely tiny to something huge from this wonderful material. There is so much that can be done with clay. But when this malleable element is in our hands, we find ourselves lost for some great ideas. While creating masterpieces with clay takes a lot of time and efforts, there is so much to experiment with clay.
