BJP claims on mega convention of workers
Bhopal: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has claimed its mega convention of workers organised here Tuesday has entered the Rs World Book of Records' (WBR). The day-long event, Rs Karyakarta Mahakumbh', has been awarded the title of the 'World's Largest Cadre Based Convention of any Political Party' by the UK-based World Book of Records (WBR), BJP Media Cell in-charge Lokendra Parashar claimed Wednesday. The mega convention, held at the sprawling BHEL Jamboree Maidan in the city, was addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah.
School’s Fancy Dress Competition organised
Bhopal:The talented toddlers of Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar showcased mesmerising performances in school’s Fancy Dress Competition organized today at its school campus. The competition was organized on the theme of characters from Nursery Rhymes, Fairy Land & Classic Tales and Advertisements for Nursery, KG I and KG II streams respectively. Toddlers in colorful fancy attires participated in the competition with great enthusiasm and zeal depicting their characters which thrilled everyone in the audience. It was a delight and treat to the eyes to watch the kids performing in their depicted characters. The competition also showcased social messages of save petrol, wear helmet, environment conservation, say no to plastic, go green etc. The Chief Guest and the Judge of the competition was Anshika Keswani. The patience, enthusiasm, passion and efforts of the teachers were visible from the spectacular show presented by the tiny toddlers beamed their confidence in public speaking, overcoming stage fear and vocabulary during the competition.
Academic seminars to be held
Bhopal: On the occasion of the World Teacher’s Day, academic seminars will be held at Educational Institutions on October 5. Directives in this connection have been issued by the State Education Centre to Principal, District Institute of Education and Training (DIET). The World Teacher’s Day is observed on October 5 every year as the UNESCO had issued recommendations in connection to teachers by preparing a document concerning ‘Status of Teachers’ at the Education Conference organized by it on October 5, 1966. A theme ‘The right to education means the right to a qualified teacher’ has been chosen by the UNESCO for the year 2018. The State Education Centre has directed the DIET to organize academic seminars based on this theme.
