The divisional commissioner directed the officers to implement welfare works and development schemes in a more efficient manner.
He also asked them to listen to the problems of people and solve them expeditiously. Divisional Commissioner KK Khare, at a review meeting here on Friday, dwelt on public welfare schemes, including ladli laxmi Yojana, works relating to irrigation, roads, drinking water and malnutrition among Saharia tribals.
Collector P Narhari and other officers were present during the meeting. Khare asked the assistant labour commissioner to work earnestly for registration of construction workers. The officers listed the works taken up by their respective departments.
Collector P Narhari listed the achievements in e-governance, Janmitra and Hamari ladali programmes. He said that Navachar had been lauded not just in the State, but also outside it. The Collector also listed the steps taken for the welfare of the handicapped under the Sparsh.
Narhari assured the Divisional Commissioner that better implementation of all the programmes would be ensured. DFO Atul Khera, Municipal Commissioner Ved, etc were also present at the meeting.
