Inspector General Registration Amit Tomar conducted an inspection of registrar offices in Indore on Saturday. He was accompanied by U.S. Bajpai, Regional Deputy Inspector General Registration, and Senior District Registrar Indore, Ambresh Naidu.

During the inspection, Tomar interacted with common citizens, service providers, and advocates to gather feedback and suggestions. The registrar offices at Motitbela, Collectorate (Indore-1), and Dhakkan Wala Kua (Indore-2) were inspected. He reviewed the record room, digitization process of old records, and case resolution systems in the district registrar offices.

Tomar assessed the facilities provided to the public in the registrar offices during the month of March. He instructed officials to improve seating arrangements, enhance parking facilities, and ensure provisions for clean drinking water, toilets, and heat protection.

A key focus of the inspection was the feedback on Sampada 1.0 and Sampada 2.0. At the Motitbela office, a large number of advocates and service providers engaged in discussions with the Inspector General. Tomar carefully listened to their concerns and assured timely resolution. Advocates and service providers expressed gratitude for the increased slots in Sampada 1.0 and the resolution of geo-tagging issues in Sampada 2.0.

Tomar emphasized punctuality among officials, directing them to be present in the office on time and ensure prompt registration of documents to avoid inconvenience to citizens. He also instructed that local issues be taken seriously and resolved efficiently.
