A blood donation camp was organised on Friday by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Bhopal. The camp was organised as part of 68th CA Foundation Day.
The CA Foundation Day is being organised across the country. In Bhopal too, the ICAI is observing the foundation day with various programmes and events. On Friday as a part of the series a blood donation camp was organised.
The camp aimed to let the youngsters know the importance of blood donation. Besides, it was also held as a social cause to help out the blood banks of the city.
The blood donation camp was held at Gandhi Medical College. The doctors were present on the occasion. Examination of blood groups was also held.
Amazingly about 100 volunteers came up and donated the blood. Other than the CA students, the medical students also donated their blood for the social cause.
CA Anup Shrivastava informed that the camp was organised with a motive. As various events like career fair, painting competition, lectures on GST and CA courses
were also organised as a part of the foundation day, we also included a social cause in the series.
In this camp the branch managing committee members CA Abhay Chhajed, CA Anup Shrivastava, CA Zuber Ullah Khan, CA Abhishek Gupta CA Saurabh Shrivastava, CA Mayak agrawal, CA Anshul Agrawal, CA Hemant Jain, CA Navneet Garg, branch In charge Manoj Chakraborty and other members also donated blood.
