The thing which I will miss the most of Bhopal is the ‘Azaan time’. This is the time for which I eagerly wait for,” says the Bollywood heartthrob Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka is in Bhopal for the shoot of her upcoming flick Gangaajal 2. Priyanka Chopra, lovingly known as PeeCee by her fans is in Bhopal for past one month and she has been roaming around the city and it with all her heart.
The shooting of the film is nearly finished and she will soon leave for Mumbai. While talking about her experience in Bhopal, PC on an emotional note said, “I will definitely miss Bhopal like anything. Especially I will miss the Azaan for sure.”
Elaborating on it, PC said, “Every evening after pack up I sit on hotel’s terrace and I eagerly wait for Azaan. Around 8:30 and here it goes. Azaan is given from around six masajids one after the other and it is a sheer music to my ears. I encounter a very different and a very unusual peace during that time. Something very special is discovered and the whole city seems sinking into it.”
PC is really influenced with the nature and environment of Bhopal. She says, “I have spent unforgetful moments in Bhopal.” While she was talking about Bhopal, another thing she emphasised over is the food of Bhopal. PC very excitedly quoted, “I am a big foodie. I love to eat which is not right as an actress, but in Bhopal I gave up all the eating rules for an actress. I ate the Bhopali food and I loved it.”
PC is staying at a heritage hotel of the city Noor Us Sabah Palace. Thanking the chefs of the hotel she said, “I am really obliged to the chefs of the hotel. They prepared the heavenly tasty foods for me. All the Bhopali dishes I had here and they tasted delicious. This mouthwatering experience is also one of the things I will miss a lot.”
Priyanka has been a selfie lover. She says she loves taking pictures. Also she shared about this habit of her when she quoted that she loved the architecture of Bhopal. “I was shooting in old city somewhere in the Chowk market and there I came across beautiful architecture and I took no time clicking pictures of mine over there.” I will instagram them all, she added. PC signed off saying, “When I will leave Bhopal I will not leave as Priyanka Chopra but as ‘Priyanka Bhopali”.
