If we want to do away with demons of starvation, poverty, unemployment and crime from the society, we must incorporate moral values in our professional values. The humanity will be happy only if we make donations of grain, cloths, labour and give love to others, said the RSS central committee member Indresh Kumar while giving a key note lecture on `Uplift of National culture and the Education Class' organised by Oriental University on Monday.
Kumar said while we have to pay price for everything in the society, at the same time it costs nothing to become a good human being. He said gaining education without cultural values only gives rise to corruption and bad practices in the society. The RSS leader, however, said that despite a sense of fear, crime and corruption in the society, moral values are still rooted in our country.
Vice-president Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyaan Parishad Pradip Pande speaking as a chief guest of the function said that India's culture since ancient times is based on scientific logic. State convenor BJP Training Cell, Arvind Kotekar said the need to talk about uplift of India's culture has arisen only because it is lying low. Gulrej Sheikh, state vice-president of Minority Morcha of the BJP while explaining difference between the ‘rashtra' and the country, said it is only the culture which makes a `rashtra' as well s can contribute to its decline.
Chancellor, Oriental University Kl Thakral speaking on the occasion stressed on including moral values in education system and said that in his university too
they have attached top priority to inculcate moral values among students.
