Shahpura police have nabbed a director of Lahoti hospital for sexually assaulting a 32-year-old nurse. Besides, doctor’s wife who facilitated victim’s forceful abortion of the victim two weeks ago at the same hospital, was also nabbed. Police said that the accused doctor and his wife are identified as Dr Kapil Kothari and Dr Seema Kothari who were involved in sexually assaulting the victim and later forcing her to abort the child.
In her complaint, with the Shahpura police victim stated that she joined the hospital around six months ago and the main accused Kapil started to sexually exploit her in the name of releasing her salary and later when he found that the victim got pregnant he married her at Arya Samaj Mandir without informing his wife Seema and told the victim that he would divorce Seema. After the marriage when Seema came to know about the marriage she refused to allow her in home and at work and forced her to abort the child and around two weeks ago the victim was forcibly aborted.
