Homeless to have houses soon: Shivraj

Staff Reporter

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said his Government is providing residential plots to every houseless person, even after seven decades of Independence.

Chouhan said that very soon the houseless persons would have their own houses. They would be provided grants for construction of houses. Giving roti, kapda aur makan has been a slogan so far, but the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government is working with commitment towards implementing this.

Chouhan expressed his views at election meetings at Athner, lakhnadaun (Seoni), Baihar (Balaghat), Gwalior, Kailaras and Dabra on Sunday. At tribal dominated Baihar region, the Chief Minister assured all round development and said that there would be guaranteed development in the urban bodies as the Bharatiya Janata Party rules in both State and Centre.

He appealed the people to make BJP nominees for the post of chairman and all the five posts of corporators.

He stated that the urban body elections are an

opportunity for development in the region. “The BJP Government never allowed fund crunch in the development works. An able candidate should be

victorious for the development and only the BJP nominee can guarantee it,” Chouhan added.

He warned the people, if they select Congress nominees, they would get nothing but chaos and Opposition. In Madhya Pradesh, Congress is facing in-fighting, he

added. Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh is a temple and its 7.5 crore population is our family and Shivraj Singh Chouhan is pujari of this temple.

He informed that with the Teerth Yatra scheme of the government, the old people are getting chance to visit pilgrimages.
