All the Rajput chieftains gathered to protect Chittor. Rajmata Karmavati judged Jauhar in view of the situation and Rajput heroes made Saka. Karmavati, the former Rajmata of Jauhar, vowed to protect Maharana's successor Kunwar Udai by handing over her handmaid, and set herself ablaze with 13,000 thousand women.
