The verdict of High Court on the petition of Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Gopal Bhargawa is very crucial for the cooperative movement, said Bharatiya Janata Party State General Secretary Bansiilal Gurjar.

The verdict of High Court to quash legal proceedings at the district court came after Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Gopal Bhargawa had approached the High Court seeking justice.

The petition was filed by State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank’s Chairman Shankar Singh Bundela with the district court after he was sacked and the Board of Directors was dissolved. later, the case at the district court was quashed by the High Court.

To safeguard the interest of cooperative movement MP State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank’s Chairman Shankar Singh Bundela was removed in the year 2005 and opposing the action, Bundela had complained to Minister Gopal Bhargava and Registrar Malay Shrivastava.

Gurjar stated that the people related to Congress were removed from the cooperative organizations on the charge of irregularities. Congress workers also went to the court but failed to win the case as the Court said that verdict delivered on the basis of discretion cannot be challenged. This kind of action is not good for the administration. This comment would be the oxygen for the upliftment of the cooperative movement. The high court has rejected the case against Gopal Bhargava, he added.

The decision of the High Court Judge Atul Shridharan was a milestone. The High Court bench mentioned the Supreme Court’s case of PK Choudhary Versus Commander 48th VRTF. High court rejected the case against Gopal Bhargava and Malay Shrivastava under the criminal procedure code section 482, he added.
