The Gwalior Glory School, situated on Shivpuri link Road on Friday conducted a traffic programme in which all the students took the pledge to obey the rules and regulations of traffic.
On this occasion, Gwalior SP Harinaryan Chari Mishra and Additional SP Yogeshwar Sharma along with distinguished guests were present.
After the pledge, whole atmosphere has covered with claps of the children. In the whole district, it is sincere efforts of the police to bring down the accident numbers and for this the traffic campaign was run in whole district and the pledge has been taken by school, college, educational institutions, social organiastions etc. For this campaign, social organisation, school, colleges, educational institutions along with the business organisations have shown great enthusiasm.
In the whole city, people have assembled and formed small groups and taken the pledge to abide by the rules and regulations of traffic. They also prepared the videos and taken the photographs which they have sent on the App of police department. On the occasion of Traffic campaign, former IG Ramlal Verma, Additional SP (Rural) Yogeshwar Sharma, Forensic Expert Akhilesh Bhargav and school principal Rajeshwari Sawant were present.
Additional SP Yogeshwar Sharma interacted with the school children and shared his views about the traffic rules. He also informed the children as how they should be alert while driving the vehicle and always follows the traffic rules to avoid the accident.
At Phoolbagh, the police organised the exhibition in which through sketch they shown the children about the traffic rules. On the traffic campaign, Gwalior Glory School conducted a major function.
