Governor Anandiben Patel has said that the objective of education is not just to obtain a degree. Our result is not a visiting card. Education lights up the life of a person and inspires him to use the knowledge acquired by him to raise the standard of living of the citizens of the country, to contribute to the all-round progress of society and nation. She wished the students a bright future and a happy New Year.

Patel called upon the students to set up a goal in life and make attempts to move forward. Goals must be connected to your capability. It should be in your reach but not in your grip. When this goal comes in your grip, it brings motivation for a new goal. She said that in order to develop the quality of self-dependability in students, the university should lay stress on theoretical study-teaching as well as practical study of all courses.

According to the National Education Policy, she lauded the written work done by the university teachers, carriers and scholars of ancient and Sanatan Gyan-Vigyan traditions and authentic research articles focused on their great writings and life of expert Acharyas. She lauded the awareness of the social concerns of the university on information of TB patients treated with the efforts of the university. She congratulated them for reviving the Shastrarth tradition. She said that there are many well-defined sentences in Sanskrit related to human values and personality development of students.

Eloquent orators have a profound effect on the mind. She told the university to publish a collection of such eloquent orators.

She instructed to develop the degree courses, diplomas, certificates and certificate courses run by the university on a digital platform so that students from science, commerce and mathematics stream, can study Sanskrit along with degree courses. If a person wants to take advantage of study from home, then he can also take it. She said that the university should create teachers who can do the work of spreading ancient Sanatan Gyan Vigyan to the people.

Essential value-oriented education should also be included in the courses conducted in the university to produce better teachers. Patel said that the university is a major centre of traditional Sanskrit education.

Therefore, its quality should be recognized globally. For this, work should be done based on strategy. Efforts should be made to get the highest grade from certification institutes like NAAC etc.
