A 46-year-old security guard committed suicide by hanging from ceiling at Rameshwaram Colony under Bagh Sewania police station area on Wednesday.
The victim laxan Singh has committed suicide during his duty. He left the house at around 11 pm on Tuesday and was found hanging at around 3 o’ clock in the night at Rameshwaram colony where he used to work as security guard. According to the police the circumstantial evidences suggest that the victim has committed suicide but other possibilities cannot be ruled out.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for post mortem and the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC. The police have started further investigation. Police said the victim used to live in a rented house in Rameshwaram Colony; he had rented the house for the past one year. Police have started gathering information as not much was available with the society which has recruited the victim.
Meanwhile, a 40-year-old man was mowed down by a speeding bus near Janpad Office in Berasia locality on Wednesday. According to the police victim Guddu ailas Jaggannath Kushwaha was hit by a speeding bus when he was parking his motorbike. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died later during treatment.
The errant driver escaped the spot but the Station House Officer Gopal Chauhan told that the bus driver managed to escape but the bus has been identified as Aqeel Khan and would be seized soon. The driver would be nabbed. The police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and have started further investigation.
