GST is India's most revolutionary financial Act, asserts BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has stated that the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act is the most revolutionary financial act of India. GST would make India a better place for the entrepreneurs of the world.

In a statement, BJP’s State Vice President Vijesh lunawat has stated that GST act would fulfill the imagination of ‘one nation-one market’. One tax would be there instead of two dozen taxes. GST would also end the retail inflation and provide stability in the price of the goods. Madhya Pradesh would get more profit as it is a consumer state. The tax would be collected on the basis of the consumption of the consumer materials, he added.

Notably, The Madhya Pradesh Assembly on October 24 passed the Goods and Service Tax (GST) Constitution Amendment Bill with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan terming it as a process towards economic integration of the country.

lunawat said that the state is all set for the execution of the GST act. There are around 2 lakh 87 thousand registered units in MP and the verification works of the Permanent Account Number (PAN) of these units is about to be completed.

The world has accepted the contribution of the Indian economy during the empowerment of the recession-affected economy of the world.

lunawat further stated that the political parties should recognize it as a pure financial issue. Parties should not do politics over the financial improvements of the country. Various meetings have been started after the formation of the GST council.
