A group exhibition is being put up at the Rangdarshini Gallery, Bharat Bhavan. Artists Saravana Raghavana and Suresh Kumar S from Chennai have put up their exhibition of paintings and graphic designs.

The exhibition is being organised under Rupabh series of fine arts, Bharat Bhavan that began here on Tuesday. Moreover, the exhibition would conclude on November 4. On entering the gallery, the spectators would find a fine, distinct and perfectly presented series of paintings and graphical prints. Both the artists, Saravana and Suresh have displayed their best of the creations over paper. The abstracts in the form of lines and designs bring out the artists perceptions really clearly to the spectators.

While talking to The Pioneer, one of the artists Saravana Raghavana said, “I have put up the mind series and form series in this exhibition. Earlier, I have exhibited my works figuratively but this time I have brought in the abstracts which are totally  based on lines and forms.” Saravana is very focused about his concepts that he desires to work upon. He gives very minute attentions to each of the line he draws or design over paper.

“I like to express my art psychologically,” says Saravana. His previous works ‘Page from the diary’ and ‘Destiny’ is also being exhibited at the gallery. The work, Page from the diary wonderfully defines the artist’s approach towards emotions and feelings. Going back in nostalgia and old memories is also depicted in the creations of Saravana.

Notably, Saravana has put up his 25 works at the gallery. Further, the 9th International Miniature Exhibition 2013 award winning miniature graphic design of Saravana is also displayed at the gallery. Another artist Suresh Kumar S brings out the mind cracking forms and lines into his work. He has marvelously presented the drawings and printing methods before the spectators. He has presented the Planography which is one of the forms of printing methods. His works creates an illusion before the eyes and let the spectator stand still for a while. Suresh has put up 22 art works at the gallery including four drawings. Both the artists have put up a collaborative work for the first time in an exhibition.
