The Global Skill and Employment Partnership Summit will be held at Hotel Amer Green, Hoshangabad Road in Bhopal at 9 am on June 1. Preparations for the summit are in progress. This summit is going to be held in the State for the first time.
Union Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy will be present as chief guest at the inaugural session of the summit. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will chair the inaugural session. The objective of the summit is to increase skill development and employment opportunities for youths of the state.
At least 1500 participants from all over the country and abroad will participate in the summit.
There will be six sector seminars during the summit. These include skill development and employment opportunities in the manufacturing sector, employment oriented higher education and self-employment opportunities in state, opportunities for recruitment of skilled manpower and challenges and opportunities of skill enhancement and employment and tourism, skill development and employment for women in state. Participants will also sign MoUs during the summit.
Voluntary organisations connected with corporate, industry, service sector, banking sector and skill enhancement will make suggestions to increase employment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh during the summit.
Efforts will also be made to create employment opportunities for 2 lakh unemployed persons through Intention to Employ during the summit.
