Staff Reporter

The Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission has taken cognisance of the incident of ousting two women from the Barwani Women Hospital.

The MPHRC taking cognisance over the incident of shunting out of two procreative women from Barwani Women Hospital asked the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Barwani that why they were ousted.

The Commission asked the CMHO Barwani that why Ranu and Nazneen were ousted from the hospitalIJ The incidence took place on Sunday night when the staff of the Barwani Women Hospital shunted out both the women from the hospital. Ranu is resident of village Pipri while Nazmin is resident of Sendhwa. The women were ousted from the hospital though their newborns were admitted in SNCU. The Commission has asked the CMHO to submit detail report of the case before it.

The Commission has wished to know from the CMHO that why this incidence took place, what were the reasons and when the women were thrown out of the hospital were their children with them or were admitted in SNCU. What was the role of SNCU and hospital staff in the incidenceIJ

Who was the in-charge at the time of incidence and is any action has been taken against any one till now.

Now the CMHO would have to answer all these questions in detail to the Commission and after submission of his report the Commission would pronounce its order.
