Madhya Pradesh Gau-Samvardhan Board Karya Parishad chairperson Swami Akhileshwaranand Giri has instructed all the gaushala operators of the state to conduct Gau Poojan (cow-worship) programmes in gaushalas on the upcoming Gopashtami-November 1.
He said that gau-bhakts and animal lovers should be invited to the programme and participate in cow worship. After the worship, seminars should be held on the importance of the cow. Invite experienced gau-sevaks, cow-keepers and scholars to the seminars.
Mahamandaleshwar Swami Akhileshwaranand Giri has appealed to the cow-keepers, gau-bhakts and cow-lovers of the state to reach their nearest gaushala on Gopashtami in maximum numbers and participate in cow worship. Offer gau-grass to cows and calves.
He urged the gau- bhakts that if there are small boys and girls in their house, then they should also take them along to the Gau-shala and instill the culture of cow protection in them. Feed green grass, jaggery-roti, soaked gram dal etc. to cows. Donate money for the purpose of gau-grass in gaushalas.
