Infuriated locals and neighbours thrashed the four gang rape accused when they were taken to the spot during investigation on Friday.
The 10-year-old victim was gang-raped while the woman accused facilitated the atrocity.
CSP Jehangirabad Bhartendu Sharma said that the accused were produced in the court and were sent under judicial custody by the court. They were rescued by police while they were beaten on their way to the court.
He said that there are several factors which emerge during the investigation and to ascertain them takes time. The investigation has been started and other details regarding the accused would be provided as the investigations progresses.
The woman facilitated the atrocity in return of money which was around Rs 200- Rs 300 but police have not confirmed it.
The crime records of the three have not been found and more details would be searched in the further investigation.
After the family of the victim found that she was sexually assaulted a complaint was lodged with the Jehangirabad police and based on the complaint police registered a case against the four accused and were arrested.
The medical of three accused was conducted on Friday.
The woman lured the victim with chocolates and later the accused sexually assaulted her.
The accused were Suman Pandey, 67-year-old Nannu Dada, Gyanendra Pandit and Gokul Chourasia.
