Gandhi Nagar police have nabbed two vehicle-lifters from Aerocity and recovered three two-wheelers worth Rs 2 lakh from their possession on Wednesday.
According to the police, acting on a tip off regarding two persons with vehicles near Aerocity police team reached the spot and detained the two and when they were asked details regarding the vehicle they confessed that the two-wheelers were stolen one.
The nabbed accused was identified as Tarun Gujarati (22) of Gandhi Nagar behind Government School, Vinod (25) of Arjun Ward Gandhi Nagar.
In the initial investigation police nabbed the accused and later recovered three vehicles from his possession which were stolen from different areas.
The friends and family members would be questioned in the investigation which could help in obtaining more details of earlier crimes and involvement in other crimes. Police said that the abandoned spaces were used to park the stolen bike.
The number of two wheelers stolen and disposed are yet to be revealed and is under investigation. During the investigation police have not found any criminal record of the miscreant and told that search for the crime record would be done in the further investigation.
Police said that the three vehicles stolen were Hero Deluxe MP04FD2537, BAJAJ PULSAR KRN MP04DJ8269 and Honda Shine MP04FG5122. The police have started search for other accomplices who have helped the accused in stealing and disposing the vehicles.
