Former MLA Saklecha alleges coruption in schemes

Staff Reporter

Former MLA Paras Saklecha has calimed that the central government has developed a new method of doing corruption. The money that is given to the state government in a scheme from the center, all the work of that scheme is taken by these central government companies at 2 to 3 times the rate without tender.

On this pattern, the work of installing LED lights in Ratlam is done by the center Government's company EERSL took without tender and committed corruption of about 18 crores.

Saklecha said that in November 2022, the state government had expelled the Wapcos company from the Amrit Do scheme for serious irregularities in sewerage work. In the same year, the Housing Board, Indore issued a blacklisting notice to WAPCOS. 3 years ago, Urban Development had taken action to blacklist WAPCOS for making a lot of disturbances in sewerage products in some cities. But even after this the work of WAPCOS continued and no investigation was conducted against it and no case was registered. It has been heard that this company has also been included in the Amrit Do scheme. Shiva "Raj"'s kindness to Wapkos seals Loot's involvement.

The company did a scam on a large scale

The DPR of Ratlam Sewerage was prepared by WAPCOS Company and the responsibility of overseeing the management and development of the project was also given to this company.

The sewerage project in Ratlam was approved for a tender of 121 crores, which was later increased to 141 crores by the Empowered Committee and the number of houses was reduced from 53270 to 43270. But full payment was made to WAPCOS only for connecting 27000 houses with sewer line.

Saklecha said that a scam of at least 3000 crore was done by WAPCOS company in the sewerage project of Amrit Mission 1 in the state. And at present this company is doing corruption worth thousands of crores by grabbing projects worth thousands of crores in the country. He said that a case should be registered against the scam done by this company in the state.
