Transgender' or 'Trans', familiar are words today in society but whether are they familiarized among the people dwelling in the civilization? Still a big question today. Transgender comes from all walks of life and the community they live in is incredibly diverse including Trans men or Trans women or other identities. Despite being a part of the society, the Trans community struggles a lot to gain the respect, livelihood, and rights of a country.
Highlighting the real struggles of the Trans community, a film 'Mistaken Beauty' is going to be shot in the city of lakes- Bhopal. Famous theatre artist of the city, Alok Chatterjee will be seen in the lead role in the film. Godan Kumar and Samiksha Bhatnagar will be seen in the chief roles as well. The shooting of the film will continue for the next 6 days at various locations in Bhopal. The film is being directed by Mujahid Siddiqui of Bhopal. The film is being produced by Era Film Productions. The writer of the film is Adam Baloch.
Director Mujahid said that we often see the struggle of eunuchs in society. In the wake of this, I decided to make this film comprised of an hour. This movie will be sent to film festivals in the country and abroad. The movie is produced by Nitin Singh, Shrimaan D Productions.
