On the second day of the 10-day Ganesha festival when the people welcomed him in their homes, festivity gripped the city of lakes.

City market is offering a range of Ganesha idols catching the eyes of the devotees.
One could find idols of lord Ganesha at every street corner of the city, while big sized idols are being placed at several places.
Being popular and celebrated with a lot of fervor across the nation, the citizens of State capital have also started worshiping Ganesha in different beautiful forms.
One could find 15 to 25 feet tall idols of lord Ganesha and the city is being observed echoing with the chants ‘Ganpati Bapa Morya’ as the idols reached homes and pandals.
There are idols in sitting form, dancing form, riding, standing form, one of the idols has showcased lord Ganesha in standing position on one feet. Further there are beautiful pandals made for the lord Ganesha. Some are in the form of palace and some are in the form of Himalayas.
