Jehangirabad police have booked a man for sexually assaulting a beautician in Jehangirabad area, victim became friend over facebook and later she was raped by the accused.
The victim told the police that in November-2019, she became acquainted with a man over Facebook which developed into a relationship.
Accused maintained physical relations for three years on the pretext of marriage. Later the man married another girl and revealed the same with the accused.
The victim was hurt by the act and she started pressuring her for marriage. He refused to marry. On this, the girl lodged a complaint with the police.
As soon as the information about the case was registered, the young man agreed to marry her, but the beautician himself now refused. Police have arrested the accused.
According to the information, a 21-year-old beautician living in Shahpura area runs a beauty parlor. He told the police that in November 2019, he had befriended Gaurav Vishwakarma, a resident of Jahangirabad, through Facebook. Chatting started between the two and mobile numbers were exchanged.
Meanwhile, Gaurav invited him to his house to meet him and as he alone he raped her and when the beautician opposed this, the accused said that they will get married soon.
The beautician remained silent for three years when the accused sexaully assaulted her. Recently he came to know that now he is marrying another girl. On this she complained to the police.
The beautician is married. Presently she is living separately from her husband. She told the police that she had told Gaurav Vishwakarma about being separated from her husband. He had promised that he would get married after the divorce. But before he got divorced, he fixed the marriage with another girl.
