District Sports Officer, Jabalpur Santosh Rajput and District Sports Officer Seoni Maqsooda Mirza were given a heartfelt farewell at TT Nagar City Stadium on Sunday.
Director Sports and Youth Welfare Pawan Jain presented both the officers with flowers, shawls and mementoes.
It is worth mentioning that Santosh Singh Rajput started government service from Guna on August 30, 1983 and Maqsooda Mirza from the post of District Sports Officer in Seoni on September 1, 1983.
Addressing the programme, Sports Director Pawan Jain said that the transfer and retirement of officer-employee is a government process, which every government employee has to face.
He said that the relationships made in government service do not break or leave due to retirement. While conveying his best wishes to both the officers for a happy and long life.
The programme was coordinated by the joint director Vinod Pradhan and B.S. Yadav. District Sports Officer Jones Chacko also addressed and narrated many reminiscences mentioning the excellent work done by Rajput and Mirza and wished both the officers a bright future.
Both the officers expressed their gratitude to all for the cooperation received by the department.

Chief Instructor of Hockey Academy Arjun and Dronacharya Awardee Rajinder Singh, Hockey Coach Olympian Samir Dad, Chief Coach of Sailing Arjun Awardee GL Yadav , Chief Instructor of Equestrian Academy Captain Bhagirath and others were pressent.
