A 17-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at her Indra Nagar residence under Bairagarh police station area on Tuesday.
Police said that the deceased identified as Rachna was found hanging and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead.
Police were informed and based on the information, a police team reached the spot and started investigation.
During the investigation police found that the deceased was suffering from epilepsy and was undergoing treatment for the same and she used to have attacks which painful.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
The possible reason could be the frustration of the deceased from the suffering. The police have not found any reason behind the suicide and started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 22-year-oll youth was mowed down by a speeding vehicle at Kotra village under Nazeerabad police station area on Tuesday.
A youth who was injured by a speeding vehicle was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment. The deceased was identified as Dharmendra Ahirwar and was hit by speeding vehicle on his way to home.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and have started further investigation. The errant vehicle has yet to be identified. The locals would be questioned in the investigation.
