An engineering student of a private college committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at Vivekanand Colony under Piplani police station area on Wednesday.
According to the police, Shubham Kale was found dead at his rented house at Vivekanand Colony. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
The deceased was pursuing engineering from Technocrats Institute of Technology. He was a second year student and hailed from Burhanpur.
No suicide note was found near the body and thus, the reason of the suicide still remains unclear. More details revealing the reasons are likely to come out during the further investigation.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have sent the body for the post mortem.
