On 80 feet road of Bhopal's Ashoka Garden, on Sunday, some people misbehaved with the Municipal Corporation team that went to remove the encroachment. The women workers were also abused and threatened to kill them. A situation of ruckus was created under Subhash Nagar ROB. However, they could not stand the strictness of the corporation staff.
Mayor Malti Rai's residence is also in the 80 Road area. A little far away from this, on the main road, fruit-vegetable carts were being set up on the side of the road. Despite several complaints, the corporation could not remove it, but the team reached the spot on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the encroachers started abusing the women workers. Zone's health officer Balveer Malik told that every evening a market used to be held on 80 feet road. This creates a situation of jam on the road. The mayor's residence is also nearby. Therefore, action was taken to remove the encroachment.
