The Readersburg Story Club will have a launch meet on Friday at Swami Vivekanand Library.
The club's director Shruti Kohli will discuss with the children of 7-16 years and their parents about increasing the emotional quotient of the children. According to her today's teens have a lot more information than the previous generation.
The credit goes to media and technology. But it is also true that just having information is not enough, it is also important to use this information correctly. The correct use of information gives a person's personality.
Emotional intelligence is as important as education today. The Readersburg Club polishes the thinking and personality of children and students.
Keeping this fact in mind and seeing the need of today, Redesburg Club is going to start its branch in Bhopal too. Its introductory session will be in Swami Vivekananda
Library.
In this, children will be motivated to think in the right direction through storytelling, illustrating etc.
The programme will start at 4 pm and no pre-registration is required. Shruti Kohli was earlier employed in media houses like Times of India, Indian Express, CNBC TV18, India Today.
Supported by Swami Vivekananda Library.
Manager Yatish Bhatele said that recently 30 books for children have been put on display.
These books have also been made by members of the library. Some of the titles reserved are such as Malgudi School Days, Gautam Buddha, No About Subhash Chandra Bose, This Hotel Is Haunted, The Blob That At Everyone, For We The Bail Tolls, etc. In future, Children's Literary Fest will also be organised in the library.
