Two persons including a woman died in a road accident after their bike was hit by a speeding unidentified vehicle at Gaetiya Dangi culvert under Berasia police station area on Monday.
Police said injured were rushed to Berasia PHC where woman was declared dead while youth was referred to Hamidia hospital where he died during treatment.
Police said that the two met accident on their way to Bhopal from Shamshabad.
The deceased was identified as Parvati Bai (62) and her son Phool Singh of Shamshabad.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.
Police have found that speeding bike hit the bike of deceased and escaped the spot with bike and would register case under section 304 A of the IPC.
Meanwhile a 31-year-old man was attacked by armed miscreant after victim refused to provide addiction material outside platform no. 6 at Bhopal railway station in the night on Sunday.
The addiction material 'solution' (adhesive used for joining tyre tubes) was not provided by the victim Sunder Singh which angered accused Ravi and he attacked with sharp edged weapon.
Police said that the miscreant and victim were acquainted and used to live near platform of Bhopal railway station.
Ravi asked Sunder to provide 'solution' which he refused after which Ravi started to abuse him and later he attacked Sunder with a sharp edged weapon in his stomach.
The injured was rushed to hospital where his condition is reportedly critical.
In his complaint, the victim told the police that the accused attacked him.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation, the police have registered a case under section 307 of the IPC.
