A training programme to create better understanding and details of information on e-tendering under e-Nagar Palika for municipal corporation engineers was organised at city bus office on Friday.
To provide training on e-tendering under e-Nagar Palika sub engineers and other engineers of Water work department, Smart City Scheme, Amrit Scheme, Water work –Narmada department, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Gardening department and Workshop department were provided training.
The training is aimed to provided details and information on e-tendering process by Madhya Pradesh Government said Municipal Commissioner Manish Singh Expert on e-tendering and Chief Engineer of Urban Development Department Prabhakant Katare shared details of the e-tendering under e-Nagar Palika.
Katare said that along with small development works big development works are done which cost in crores of rupees and at the time of floating tenders precautions have to be taken and there are problems faced by engineers in the field and details on all these was given.
The Government wants to make the tender process transparent and tips for maintaining transparency was provided in the training, he added.
In case if contractor do not comply with the terms and conditions of the agreement notices are issued but in several cases notices are not received by the contractors and are returned which are later pasted on their houses while in e-tendering , e-mail, fax number are provided and the notices could be sent in these channels.
All the details of the contract have to be mentioned property in the contract to make it complete.
